The Latagliata Palace in Taranto is a seat of municipal offices in the Old Town of the city. It was built around the mid-18th century by the Boffoluti family, of non-noble origins but elevated to nobility by decree of King Ferdinand IV, as recognition of the authority acquired over the years. In 1799, the Boffoluti family fell out of favor and the palace was sold to the Latagliata family, from whom it takes its current name.
