Detailed Info

🗺️ The route

It is particularly interesting as it goes through the heart of Taranto and includes some of the most characteristic places in the city.

From the traffic arrangements issued by the Municipality, it is possible to reconstruct the route involved in the race:

Discesa Vasto → Via Garibaldi → Via Cariati → Piazza Fontana → Ponte Sant’Egidio/Ponte di Pietra → Corso Vittorio Emanuele II → Piazza Castello → Ponte San Francesco di Paola (Ponte Girevole) → Corso Due Mari → Lungomare Vittorio Emanuele III → Viale Virgilio → Via Nitti → Corso Umberto I, with a turnaround in Viale Virgilio.

Therefore, the route will directly involve CittĂ  Vecchia, Borgo, Ponte Girevole, Corso Due Mari, and the waterfront, with a configuration evidently designed to enhance the urban center.

The municipal documentation also indicates the Ponte Girevole and the stretch of the waterfront as elements affected by the race.

It is presumed that the race will start and finish at the Rotonda Marinai d’Italia / Palazzo del Governo.

📺 How to follow it
